I found this photo on the internet. I don't know who took it and I don't know the location. But something about it draws me to this unknown place. It has to be somewhere in Europe, but where?
No people are at the table or for that matter anywhere in the photo. There is a river on the other side of the wall. The table is private, protected by the building, the plants and the wall. Is it a restaurant in the off season or a hotel or private house? I imagine the table cloth is red and white checked and the chairs are green. The tall trees on the hill across the river would add a hue of green if the photo was in color. The sky would be blue with wisps of translucent white clouds.
I think I would like to sit at this table with the Lovely Sharon. A bottle of red burgundy, a basket of french bread and a glass of water. Talking about nothing and at the same time everything.
Just a dream I know but sometimes the best part of life is our dreams.
