Ironwoodstock - Ironwood Country Club Music Festival

Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert, CA has two great golf courses, tennis facilities, workout facilities, a beautiful clubhouse and a great golf practice area.  The Club is always putting on fun events.  A couple of Sundays ago, the Club held Ironwoodstock (remember Woodstock from 1969).  The event was a 5 hour music festival, on the driving range with terrific food, beer, wine soda pop and water.  There was a large dance floor on which we danced under the moon and the stars.  The dancing stopped for a while at 9:30 so we could watch a professional fire works show. After the fireworks, there was more dancing.

I think there were more than 700 people in attendance, wearing 1960's clothes and having a ball.  Here are some of the photos I took:

After the music stopped we drove our golf cart home in the nice desert nighttime air. What a fun evening, I hope Ironwood does it again next year
