A Wedding

My son Alex was married Saturday in our backyard.  The wedding was lovely as were the bride and the bridesmaids.  The ceremony was wonderful and everything was nice.  I am relieved that it is over.  The Lovely Sharon and I spent almost two months working in the yard and the house to get ready for the wedding. We worked almost every day during last two months and we are both worn out.  Despite the hard work, the wedding really was nice.

Son Alex is a terrific person as is Kristin my new daughter-in-law.  They seemed well matched.  I enjoyed meeting her family from Oregon, California and Minnesota. Her Aunt Patty officiated at the wedding and Aunt Patty did a great job.

The Wedding has caused me to think back about different stages and events in Alex’s life.  He has always been a nice and kind person.   He never really did anything crazy or bad that caused me stress. At one time he had bright red hair and another time blue hair.  I kind of liked the blue hair and was sad to see it go.  But it is nice he has been back to his original hair color for a number of years.

A few photos are attached below.
