Is Trump Still Mentally Ill?

This post is a follow up to my most recent post where I wondered if Trump is mentally ill.  In that post I made several references to Trump claiming on many occasions that he did not say what he in fact previously said.  He is at it again. Now he claims his various comments about the bias of a federal judge have been “misconstrued”.

The Washington Post has written that:

Trump has repeatedly argued in recent weeks that U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel should recuse himself from presiding over two lawsuits against the Trump University for-profit education business, in which Trump is a central party, because "he's a Mexican." Trump's suggestion that the judge's ethnic background posed a conflict of interest that made him unfit to preside over the lawsuits stunned political observers and prompted prominent members of the Republican establishment to sharply denounce his remarks.

So now that Trump is getting hammered by the press, Democrats and Republicans, he again comes up with the claim that what he said is not what he said, and that everybody else in America has misconstrued his words.  Oh, then I guess that must be ok Donald, so I suppose that those of us who read and heard your plain words that the judge was a Mexican and therefore could not be fair should now just say “never mind”.

I suppose that your comment that a Muslim judge would be bias because of your anti- Muslims comments, was also misconstrued.

It would be appear to me Donald that based on your analysis that the only judge that would treat you fairly and without bias would be someone like you. I suppose a call should go out for an asshole.

Oh Donald, just because you tell us a red shirt is blue does not make it blue.
